For the 2025 Chinese New Year Gala hosted by the Confucius Institute of Dance and Performance at Goldsmiths, University of London, I independently designed the complete visual communication system across both online and offline platforms. The project included a poster, email invitation, course flyer, and programme booklet, ensuring visual consistency across different formats.
The key visual features a stylised snake entwined with a pine tree, symbolising renewal and resilience in Chinese culture. To make the imagery more approachable in a cross-cultural context, I developed the snake using geometric, cartoon-like forms. The programme booklet was redesigned based on the previous year’s style, with improved information hierarchy and English-language readability, and was finished with saddle-stitch binding.
